A ground stop delayed flights for a few hours at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on Saturday because of an equipment outage.

A ground stop was issued at Chicago O'Hare Airport due to an equipment outage late Saturday morning, the Federal Aviation Administration's website said.

The FAA issued a ground stop until 5:45 p.m., for flights departing to Hobby Airport. We contacted Hobby officials, who confirmed to KHOU 11 that the reason was staffing. Bush Airport is also listed on the FAA’s website, with a ground stop possible. We've reached out to Bush for the reason.
