Police say a Texas man fatally shot three people in a Target parking lot, including a child and her grandfather.

At least three people are dead after a shooting on Aug. 11 at a Target parking lot in Austin, Texas, authorities said.

Three people, including a child, were killed in a shooting in the parking lot of the Target at 8601 Research Blvd., near Ohlen Road, in North Austin on Monday afternoon. Austin Police Department (APD) Chief Lisa Davis said a call came in around 2:15 p.m. of a shooting at the Target, and officers arrived on the scene shortly after.
