Southampton have made a counter-offer to Everton for Tyler Dibling, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed. The Championship side have reportedly proposed a deal 'slightly lower' than their initial €55-65m (£48-56m) valuation and are now awaiting a response from the Toffees.

Southampton head coach Will Still expects Tyler Dibling to be reintegrated back into the squad soon. The winger has been a transfer target for Everton this summer. Dibling was a bright spark in a poor season for Saints last season and is considered one of the best young English talents around.
