After the Chargers’ defense stuffed Tony Pollard on fourth-and-goal from the 1-yard line, Justin Herbert took over and engineered a 99-yard touchdown drive. The drive took more than nine minutes off the clock and turned a 20-17 nail-biter into a 27-17 Chargers edge early in the fourth quarter. Los Angeles held on for a 27-20 victory.
