Vanessa Bryant is writing a book highlighting 100-plus murals that honor her husband, Kobe, and daughter, Gianna, who died in a helicopter crash five years ago Sunday.

Bryant died on Jan. 26, 2020, when a helicopter crashed into the side of a mountain in Calabasas, Calif., and began burning. He and the other passengers were killed on impact. Bryant was 41 years old when he died. He was born on Aug. 23, 1978, and died eight months before what would have been his 42nd birthday.

Vanessa Bryant will release a new book called “Mamba & Mambacita Forever,” honoring her late husband Kobe Bryant and her late daughter Gianna Bryant.
