Star point guards Ja Morant and Stephen Curry will continue a tightly contested rivalry when the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors duel Monday night in San Francisco.
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant will be available against the Miami Heat on Oct. 24 at FedExForum. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is also playing.
Given how early in the year it is, if Morant isn't feeling 100%, the Grizzlies could look to rest their star and opt to take their chances against the Heat. Especially since Friday against the Heat is the first leg of a back-to-back, they could be better off holding him out until Saturday's game against the Indiana Pacers.

A two-time All-Star and former All-NBA Second Team selection, Morant hasn't reached this caliber of play in a couple of seasons. Getting off to a good start on Wednesday night would be a small but still meaningful step in the Grizzlies' guard potentially returning to that elite form.
Their frontcourt is also depleted going into the season, with centers Zach Edey and Brandon Clarke both injured to start the year, forcing Memphis to lean on small lineups early with Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama playing some small-ball five.
Uncertainty surrounds Ja Morant’s status for Memphis Grizzlies’ home game against the Miami Heat on Friday.
