The Chinese government will lift export restrictions on critical minerals, cease exports of chemicals to North America required to produce fentanyl and resume the flow of key auto semiconductors, the White House said in a fact sheet Saturday.

Visitors, who ordinarily would have entered through the East Wing, will be using an “updated route,” the White House said.

Critics are questioning if the demolition of the White House East Wing adhered to federal health and safety standards, including those governing the handling of asbestos.
