PORTHCAWL, Wales — On a blustery day in south Wales, it was Japanese rookie Miyu Yamashita who hoisted the AIG Women’s Open trophy, winning by two shots over Charley Hull and Minami Katsu.

Miyu Yamashita carded a 2-under 70 Sunday in the final round of the AIG Women's Open to hold on for the victory at Royal Porthcawl.

Miyu Yamashita's AIG victory gives Japan bookend titles at the 2025 majors and four titles on the season from four Japanese different winners.
