2025 NFL trade deadline: Jets make first deal trading Michael Carter for receiver addition
The New York Jets have made their first deal ahead of the 2025 NFL trade deadline. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jets (1-7) have traded cornerback Michael Carter II and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles (6-2) for wide receiver John Metchie and a 2027 Round 6 selection:
