On Tuesday, the King County Council (KCC) is set to vote on the 0.1% sales tax measure that would generate new revenue. Without new funding, King County estimates residents will see reduced emergency response capacity, delayed court proceedings, and cuts to violence prevention and behavioral health services.

King County Proposition 1, a six-year property tax levy, would fund operations and maintenance, enhancement of existing spaces and an array of new projects.
