Bryan Kohberger may have used more than one weapon during the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students, according to Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson.

Kohberger has been moved to long-term restrictive housing, where inmates are moved in restraints and have one hour of outdoor recreation daily.

The facility is about 20 minutes outside Boise, where Kohberger appeared in court Wednesday to be sentenced to four consecutive life sentences plus 10 years for the fatal stabbings of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.
