The Philadelphia Phillies are acquiring veteran outfielder Harrison Bader from the Minnesota Twins, ESPN reports. The move comes hours before Thursday's Major League Baseball trade deadline. In return, the Twins will receive outfielder Hendry Mendez and right-hander Geremy Villoria, according to The Athletic.

There are legitimate questions about how the Phillies will construct their outfield in the immediate and further down the road.

It’s unclear how Bader will fit into the outfield mix, but Dave Dombrowski said the Phillies are “very happy to have” the veteran.
