The major index futures are currently pointing to a mixed open for the markets, with the Dow futures up by 0.1 percent but the Nasdaq futures down by 0.2 percent.

September Nasdaq 100 E-Mini futures (NQU24) are down -0.37% this morning as a widespread cyber outage that hit banks, airlines, and broadcasters weighed on investor sentiment.

Federal funds futures prices are discounting the chances at 21% for a -25 bp rate cut at the July 29-30 FOMC meeting. Overseas stock markets today are mixed. The Euro Stoxx 50 is up +1.09%.

In commodities trading, crude oil futures are falling $0.49 to $61.04 a barrel after rising $0.33 to $61.53 a barrel last Friday.

In commodities, West Texas Intermediate crude oil futures are down $1.70 or 2.19 percent at 75.44 a barrel. Gold futures are gaining $4.50 or 0.17 percent at $2,670.50 an ounce.
