Winter weather alerts are in effect throughout Western Pennsylvania as snow moves across this portion of the state during the morning hours.

Snow arrives tonight and continues at times tomorrow, perhaps mixing with sleet and freezing rain, especially south of D.C. We should pick up several inches by tomorrow night, and then it’s a frigid clean up with highs only near 30 much of the week and bitter wind chills.
