Valkyries aim to reach .500 record against struggling Sun team on four-game losing streak, despite losing All-Star Kayla Thornton to season-ending injury.

The Golden State Valkyries will be facing the Connecticut Sun on Sunday morning. In their first time meeting, Golden State came away with an 87-63 win against the Sun. Their game on Sunday at the Mohegan Sun Arena will be the first of five away games for the Valkyries.

Charles finished with a game-high 24 points and recorded a +39 in just under 19 minutes played in the Sun's big win over the Valkyries on Sunday.
