The Hastings Police Department is hiring for a Community Service Officer (CSO) to handle service calls that do not require the presence of a sworn patrol officer. The CSO assists with a variety of administrative tasks to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the department. As a non-sworn member of the Police Department, the CSO will handle the following duties and more: • Booking and transport • Parking enforcement • Evidence and property transport • Traffic studies and radar speed duties
