Jesuits in America - Many people have heard of the Jesuits in the Vatican, which is the largest male religious order in the Catholic Church, but did you know the United States has a history of Jesuits as well? They were organized into provinces, each headed up by a superior. The geographic areas were East, Central and Southern, and Midwest and West. Even more, they still exist today. In fact, in 2020, the Maryland Province and the New England Province joined to form the USA Northeast Province wh
