Yesterday I ran a timed mile, 4 days before my 35th birthday 🫣 I love to challenge myself physically and mentally. My lifetime PR for the mile is 5:55, all the way back May 2008, aka 16.5 years ago. 😅 Now, right before I turn 35, I wanted to see how I’d do. I’m definitely a better distance runner, but I still enjoyed testing my mile speed! I’m getting better at not starting out too hot, though I definitely can improve upon this by a lot. This was painful. And fun. I’m itching for that sub-6:30
