Today at 9:00 a.m. ET, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), the top Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee, and House Democrats will hold a press conference in front of the U.S. Supreme Court ahead of oral arguments in support of Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Cook. The case follows a lower court’s decision last year, to block the Trump Administration’s attempt to unlawfully remove Governor Cook from her position after making baseless claims against her.
