On our 24hr Pelagic on September 9-10, 2023 we were extremely fortunate to encounter an endangered WHALE SHARK! This observation was very unique! Traveling together with an Oceanic sunfish (Mola mola), the Whale shark kept it's distance for the first few minutes of the sighting until it approached the boat and we were able to get a positive ID!
