A box full of abandoned NYPD uniforms was discovered on 37th Street and 9th Avenue by a Boropark24 reporter. The box was found opened, with uniforms spilling out onto the street. Shomrim and NYPD were called. Officers responded and confirmed the clothing was authentic and belonged to a member with many years on the job, based on the different department uniforms found inside.
